Around 1:40 PM on Saturday, Croton’s Bravest were summoned for the car on fire “somewhere on Route 9 southbound.”Units located the vehicle south of the pedestrian bridge with the confirmed engine compartment fire. Members stretched the 150’ bumper line off Engine 119 and made quick work of it.Units operated for about an hour until the vehicle was removed.
